The Economic Development Council of Tillamook County would like to thank everyone who participated in last years event. The events success depends on the contributions of these organizations and individuals! Our 2007 event drew an estimated 3,000 attendees; with nearly half of those coming from outside Tillamook County. We expect this family-oriented event to continue bringing return visitors and business to our community. We are looking forward to 2008 and the celebration of our sixth year!

This culinary event celebrating the county will feature local restaurants, microbrewers, wine cellars, food producers, food processors, local agriculture, arts and entertainment and will benefit food programs in Tillamook County.

This year’s event will continue to showcase Tillamook County’s finest through food, beer and wine vendors, professional chef demonstrations and  the Chefs “Black Box” Cooking Competitions. The Clam Chowder cook-Off is always a big hit, as is the Mac ‘N Cheese Contest and Professional Oyster Speed Shucking Competition. We hope to continue to make The Taste of Tillamook County a special event that the entire family comes to enjoy.

The annual "Taste of Tillamook County" event stimulates county-wide tourism and economic activities during the off-season by celebrating the County's diverse products while raising funds for Tillamook County food programs.
